Bella is a registered  therapy dog.    She specializes as a reading education assistance dog.  As a member of PJ's Pals,  Bella has been volunteering since 2008.  She can be found volunteering at Mojave Mesa school and Apple Valley Library.  She loves children and helping them improve their reading and confidence is her goal.

Bella has found a way to help inspire the children to read. She has learned to read flash cards and doing the behavior shown on the card.  She can read eight words.  She has been on NBC's Today show as part of their Top Dog contest.
She has been in US magazine and local newspapers.  She has performed at pet expo's and events.  We like to say "If a dog can read, so can you and we can help."
